Return Policy

*All returns are subject to all the conditions below:

• In-stock items may be returned within 90 days of sell date, subject to the conditions below.
• Items must be returned in original condition. Any alterations to the item will be deducted, or cause return to be refused.
• Custom work done to any piece, such as ring re-sizing, etc. is non-refundable. See also Ring Resizing.
• There is no need for a return authorization. Returns can be made in-store or by shipment. For shipped returns buyer must contact us to advise us of the item's pending return and its tracking number to be received by us within 90 days from original sell date.
• Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Seattle Fine Jewelry is not responsible for a returned item until it is delivered to us. We recommended full insurance with your chosen carrier to protect yourself.
• All items returned by shipment are video recorded as we open them to validate the package's contents.
• All sales from our "Design Your Own New Jewelry" page and widget, plus special order, "Quick Order," and custom-made pieces, and all repair services are final sale, not returnable and non-refundable whether purchased online or in-store.
• Seattle Fine Jewelry gift cards are not refundable and non-returnable, but have no expiration date!
  

Layaway Policy

• Any item in our store can by put on layaway!
• There are no monthly fees or interest charges for layaways plans.
• Layaway plans require a 20% down-payment, which is non-refundable but can be applied toward an exchange. The remaining 80% amount can be divided in to equal monthly payments ranging from 1 month up to however many months you need, and that 80% is refundable as with any other return.
• Payments are due on the same day of each month for the duration of the mutually agreed layaway plan.
• Any layaway plan 60+ days late/unpaid will be considered abandoned, will be cancelled, and no payments will be refunded.
• Items are not shipped or available for pickup until successful completion of all layaway payments. Your plan's item(s) will be held securely and reserved exclusively for you until the end of your plan.
• Purchasing an item on layaway means that you have read and agree to these terms.

Shipping Policy

• All our jewelry is nicely packaged and shipped fully insured with signature required for delivery.
• We offer free standard shipping to all addresses in the USA and low-cost to Canada.
• Express shipping options to USA and Canada can also be purchased.
• Shipping costs to other parts of the world vary by country.
• We are not responsible for carrier loss or delays.
• We are not responsible for package loss, but can help with an insurance claim. Contact us.
• Our items are located in and ship from the USA. USA buyers are responsible to know and report use tax in their respective state for states where we do not have a nexus or collect sales tax. Non-USA buyers assume all responsibility for all local and import taxes.
