About the Owners
The owners of Seattle Fine Jewelry are long-time spouses (and also best friends) Nancy & Ramir— both G.I.A. Graduate Gemologists (GIA = Gemological Institute of America), and Ramir is also a G.I.A-trained Bench Jeweler and our master craftsman. They are aided by a group of ethical professionals and artisans, and the entire Seattle Fine Jewelry team works hard to earn your trust. Seattle Fine Jewelry is the one-stop location for all the Renton and Eastside community’s jewelry needs with welcoming, friendly experts they can trust.

About Our Store
Seattle Fine Jewelry is Renton's only locally-owned and operated full-service jeweler. We offer three distinct jewelry services conveniently under one roof:
- A retail shop selling new jewelry, custom jewelry, bridal and wedding rings, special occasion jewelry, and eco-friendly expertly restored vintage jewelry.
- A full gem lab run by GIA Graduate Gemologists, offering insurance appraisals and gem identification, and one-on-one consultations to help you separate valuable jewelry from costume jewelry, and more.
- And a full in-house jewelry repair shop including our “Jewelry Spa” where jewelry pieces can be brought back to their full sparkle through professional cleaning and polishing. Our complete jewelry repair services use all the traditional jeweler’s bench tools, plus modern laser welders for high-precision work. Our many in-house jewelry repairs include:

Our unique jewelry retail showroom is a modern, digital-only showroom (i.e. no traditional and overwhelming display cases). All in-stock jewelry is beautifully photographed and displayed with pertinent info on the walls, like a walk-in web site. Each piece has its own QR Code to view full information, more photos, and a video of the piece. This modern, high-tech system instantly empowers customers with more information and decision-making power than the old-school jewelry store model and its cases crammed full of mystery items with no visible labels.

Owner, GIA GG - Graduate Gemologist & GIA AJP & GIA PG, Appraiser, Designer
Nancy is 1 of our 2 gem experts: a GIA-GG, GIA-AJP, GIA-PG, and CPAA-CPS. She selects and tests all our jewelry in our gem lab, assuring gem authenticity. Nancy is also head of both merchandising and customer experience. She's been married to Ramir for over 30 years and lovin' it.
Ramir
Owner, GIA GG- Graduate Gemologist, Master Bench Jeweler,
Appraiser
Ramir's a GIA-GG, and our 2nd gem expert. He's also our head bench jeweler, trained at the GIA's world headquarters in Carlsbad, CA. He fully restores, re-designs, re-sizes, & customizes our pieces with rare patience & talent. He can also masterfully repair and restore just about any jewelry, or custom make your dream piece. Happy husband of Nancy.
Jordan
Product Manager, Customer Service
If it involves our product, and needs doing, ask Jordan. From accurately measuring gems, to metal testing, to thorough quality control, to digital arts file uploading, data entry, shipping or providing top-notch customer service- Jordan is our go-to guy. He's also a pilot, which is cool.
Sean
Data Manager, VP Of Pizza
Creator and master of the spreadsheets, Sean keeps our inventory, appraisal, and sales data organized, accessible, and highly accurate. He's also an avid outdoorsman who volunteers in many BSA community civic projects.
Kaitlyn
Apprentice Bench Jeweler
Kaitlyn graduated from the Jewelry Design program at FIDM in Los Angeles. She does an excellent job polishing and refurbishing our vintage jewelry, and is mastering gem setting and other advanced skills under Ramir's tutelage. Disney is her jam.
